Hillwood College is keen to ensure that the importance of competitive games, under its control is kept in true perspective in respect of the balanced development of studentsand that they be seen as the means by which the ideals of fair play, good sporting behaviour, friendly rivalry and skill development are all included. Modern trends in many sports contract good sporting behaviour. Our school should be a trend setter in showing other good sportsmanship. All students have a twenty minute lesson each week using a variety of safe play equipment to allow for a sequential development of physical skils through natural play and some formal instructions. All students will be participating in the school's annual sports meet. |
